Losing my religion

Walking to the moon
Across the milky way
I catch a comet with my right hand
And throw it back into space

For we walk amongst space and time
Amongst the giants of past, present, future

For we dance on alien planets
Swim in icy glacier lakes
Watching three moons in the sky

I am walking to the moon
On beams of sunshine and dust
The ailing blue planet below my feet
The comet won’t hit it anymore
But how earth shall heal
I know not

Across the bridge I go
Milky Way
All roads lead to Rome
Or somewhere
Losing my religion
Finding God
