The fox cackled
Loudly
The night breeze caught
A scent
The mouse quietly
Scuttled
The bat chased
Intent
The hedgehog clomps
Noisy
The night owl carries
Prey
And I stand still–a monolith
A wild-woman overlay
Into the Wild Woods
