poetry, word doodles and other writing stuff
These are similar to the Photo Poems only that I make them analog with newspapers, advertisement and all kinds of material and then scan them to create a virtual scrapbook poem.
This one came about when I decided to read a women’s magazines. There was indeed an advertisement for lipstick or lipgloss stating: Modern Lips. So what are modern lips? Are there old fashioned lips as well? Have mine expired? Do I need to keep up with the Jones’? Plum, moisture, pucker?

I made the poem with a Waitrose Magazine and then layered it with the Bazaar App on iPad. Probably too much filter…
Karma and Power both were made from advertisement and information magazine from karma cola, which made me think about mechanisms of power, and exploitation.
